Wow-two visits to this long desired bakery and no lines! Great Lower east side location-very accessible. The cronut-well, they were sold out on my first visit. So when I returned another day making sure I got there early-I was able to buy one. The flavor of the week or month was lemon. FIrst the lemon flavor was so mild that... More

It was good and tasty but not unique. I think its over rated. We booked for the cronut before 2 weeks so when we reach there our order was ready and no need to be in the line. They have allot of other dessert choices but couldn't try it the cronut was more than enough. Not recommended for healthy people.

We thought the long line was for some other venue. and not for the bakery. However, when we tried to enter the bakery we were informed by "the bouncer" that there was a line down the sidewalk. He was escorting groups of 6 or so people in at a time. After waiting for about 30 minutes in line outside, we... More

My sisters and I visited this place because we had heard so much about the cronut, and it was definitely worth it just for that, but what we didn't know was how incredible this bakery is!! Their creations are beautiful and delicious works of art. Easy on the eyes and irresistible to the taste buds. The only thing that was... More

The title says it all. This place was so busy and I had to queue for a while but as soon as I tasted the cronut I was thoroughly impressed. Was really tasty

On a recent trip to New York City, this was a must try for my mom and I! We heard about it through friends and said that we should try the cronut. Sadly, we found out that most people line up at around 6AM to wait for the bakery to open hours later for these flaky donuts. I wasn't going... More

The terribly slow service really lets this place down. It is SO Slow. Even when they aren't busy. A real shame because some of the cakes etc are great.

Loved the cookie shots and Dkas, some of the nicest pastries I've ever had. Didn't bother with cronut. Croissants are very solid. Lines can be long and it's an expensive bakery, though given it's location and profile that's to be expected. dKA is a must in my opinion

I went for breakfast and I think that they need more salty things. I had a hot chocolate that was too sweet, I could not drink it all. To eat I order an "eclair"that it was a bit hard. And finally all mthe things were expensive.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
