Milk cheese with sautéed peppers that melt in your mouth. I had the whole wheat pasta in a tomato broth that was superb. She had the expertly cooked Dover sole. Decent wine selection, great atmosphere and expert table service. Never leave here with regrets.

This place serves good (not the best) Italian. Friendly service, nice decor, reliable food. If you are on West Side give it a shot otherwise don't make a trip.

Excellent food in pleasant setting. Restaurant is bit noisy in certain sections. Service was actually too efficient. We were served quickly. Food was fresh and hot, but although we didn't feel rushed, it was not a leisurely fine dining experience.

Located in the New York landmarked Hotel Des Artistes, and surrounded by the astonishing 1920s murals by Howard Chandler Christy, THE LEOPARD at des Artistes finds its roots in the area once known as “The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies” (mid 1800s) and in the culinary traditions of the regions of Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Apulia, Sardinia, and of course Sicily, reaching a balance between dishes based on rural elements, such as pasta, vegetables, cheese, and seafood ingredients from the Costiera.
