I've been here multiple times, usually making a point to visit whenever I have an overnight business trip. Why? In short, it may have the best craft beer selection in the most convenient location. Blind Tiger is great, too, but it's a subway/cab ride away from Midtown, and they generally have fewer beers on tap than Rattle 'N Hum. So... More

Visited this pub twice whilst in New York - first time on an evening and it was rammed (7pm) and as we wanted to eat we left immediately. Went back in the daytime a day or so later and much quieter. Excellent choice of beers available, although the strengths are mind boggling for the average Brit. Didn't eat, but menu... More

Lucky find. Great bar look. They have a large selection of beer. We got the spicy hummus and it was awesome. Friendly staff.

Went for dinner with friends, had the salmon with salad and it was delicious. Also tried a few of their beers and whiskey and wasn't disappointed. Definitely a bar environment, not restaurant though! So sitting might be hard to find

Nice non-touristy pub about a block from the Empire State Building. Great beer selection on tap, something for everyone, mostly US microbrews but some from Europe too. Good food selection; I had a steak sandwich and my wife had a great cob salad. Fries were excellent! She likes beer but had two excellent Moscow Mules. Would go here again!

Only one choice and served too cold. This pub should not be on the list of 15 best real ale pubs in NYC.

This place has a great beer selection. Their moto is "No Crap on Tap". The burger I had was very good. Te service was also very friendly.

Our flight got in late and this place is just across the street from the Element Hotel in New York City. The street looks shady but the food at this place was amazing and reasonably priced!

Really good bar, lots of beer. The bar staff were nice, and knew their beer. And they do flights so that you can try as many as you want!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
