We've visited Obica a couple of times now and intend to go again. It's located in a rather frenzied area so it's great to find somewhere to relax. The food is quite light and tasty. We were served by Jay who is very professional as were his colleagues. We would definitely recommend it

Its a GREAT PLACE, excellent pasta, tasty vegetables, semi-good Olive Oil, not the new 2016 harvest yet, but give it a months or so. OIL got so cheap in Italy, that they should be ready to import the best, and the oil that lasts longer than 6 months. (Tuscany had the nasty fly inject offspring into 30% of the olives... More

Quaint beautiful little spot with the best Burrata. The owner was wonderful and the service was very personable.

Obica has a number of positive attributes - namely decor, atmosphere, and service. However, the food teally missed the mark and was fairly disappointing. While you can appreciate the attempt to serve authentic Italian fare and have high quality and varied cheese and wine selection, several items we tried were surprisingly bland. Specifically, the eggplant parmigiano appitizer and the Porcini... More

Stopped in to get a salad after waking around midtown. The salad was served quickly and a large portion of spinach with sun died tomatoes, pomegranate seeds and chicken. Was prefect for the light quick lunch I was hoping. The service was friendly. I sat at the bar watching the chefs and cooks work away. Would definitely stop in again... More

Biggest letdown in NYC. We've been to the Obica in Rome and it was amazing but this one was a pure ripoff. The waiter was super slow as well and forgot our order two times...I mean, come on. Avoid this at all costs.

I was at the obica mozzarella bar in Madison with my girl friend. The food (mozzarella/prosciutto) was good but not expectional. The service level offered to the customer is bad (waiters are slow/forget my salad/ store manager was screaming disturbing all customers). Overall good location, nice food with some areas of improvements, store manager and some waiter needs to be... More

Mozzarella is the star at this restaurant in the atrium of the IBM building. You get the feel of a sidewalk cafe without having to sit outside in the heat. In the winter it can get a little cold if you sit by the windows, however. The service is OK. The other day I ordered an arugula salad that had... More
