Crazy air con when it’s terribly cold outside, guests squeezed here and there, tiny dishes for a considerable price, loud music killing the charm, waiters in a hurry to see you out... I understand this is NYC and everything, but this place is expensive for...More

Delicious! I had a ginger soda which I loved and I shared the Belgium waffle and avocado toast with my sister (in the picture). I would defiently go again. We sat at the end of a long table and it wasn't extremely spacious. Despite that,...More

Three of us ate brunch at Buvette on Saturday morning. We had to wait outside for fifteen minutes to be seated. We all chose the waffle sandwich, though my vegetarian wife and daughter decided not to include the bacon. The buttermilk waffle was perfect, laced...More

Ridiculously over publicized with queues every day, we were lucky that having passed the queue whilst walking in the area, found no queue in our return. Was very disappointed with breakfast and found staff person taking orders quite off hand. Having asked for a dry...More

Excellent food - delicious, authentic, and rich! Every dish we had was better than the next - pesto tartan, steak tartare, croque monsieur, coq au vin, and the creme brûlée and tarte tartine. Unfortunately, there is a lot more that just the quality of the...More

Yes, the grilled cheese and other lunch menu items were expensive (and not very large) but they were SOOOO good. So not cheap but very tasteful

Nice place, often crowded but well worth the wait. This place often reminds me of California, simple ingredients but extremely well prepared and very fresh. Wonderful domaine tempier bandol. Very friendly service.

We stayed here for a brunch and some drinks. Althought we had to wait a while for a table and the place is a bit pricy, whole experience inside was great and totally worth it. Our waitress was really nice and fast. I really recommend...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

A Croque is a sandwich. Normal size. It had some greens as a side. Condiments were not in the sandwich but offered separately.

You would probably have to wait just a few minutes because they open at 8am. Anyway, it's worth the wait!
