Great neighbourhood diner in Manhattan. Comprehensive menu and fast, smooth service from a happy and efficient team. BBC omelette, salmon and cream cheese bagel followed by Red White and Blue waffles with coffee top ups are some of the hard to beat choices available. All this in an authentic diner setting on E45th between 2nd & 3rd Avenue. A little... More

We came upon this restaurant by chance. What a find! Retro diner interior. Down to earth waitress. Reasonable prices. Good food with extensive menu choices. And, their homemade pecan pie is like no other I've ever had- delicious. If you want fancy this isn't it, but if you're looking for good comfort food, you won't regret it.

Eggs Benedict to die for! Clean eatery with friendly staff. Lovely, authentic American diner! Would revisit... without question.

Had a mid-day breakfast on Friday. The lemon ricotta pancakes are worth getting as are the omelets. Typical diner fare with great customer service. Don't sit in the back -- the smell of mildew from the basement was too much for me. Sit at the counter if you can.

I like eggs, and there are a lot on the menu. Could easily have had breakfast all week. Didn't expect the bacon to be any good as Americans can't do proper British bacon.

Being an English couple taking our first trip to America & New York we couldn't wait for a stereotypical American diner experience. Went on 2 separate occasions & had fantastic service as well as amazing food. The menu was well stocked, the coffee good... everything was great. The people, both patrons & staff, made our trip even more special. Couldn't... More

After sitting down it took 10 minutes to see someone. Waiter was rude. Food was good but overall not a great experience.

We came upon this place as we were checking out and asked the receptionist if there were any places to eat close by. I did not expect too much for a diner. It looks like the typical diner, but the menu had some non diner fare. I had the Womlet, which is the omelette of the day: a Belgian waffle... More

Always enjoy the food and service here. Sure it is New York pricing, but quality and quantity make that a secondary consideration. You may have to wait for a table but it is worth the time.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
