Unpretentious, delicious, well priced, cozy but not too cozy. This is a great local haunt. It doesn't feel like a super New York type of a restaurant but that's not a problem. And there's a nice outdoor seating area as well which provides pretty good people watching opportunities. My favorite food at this restaurant is the potato gnocchi with classic... More

As part of my Christmas present, my daughter offered to take me out to eat. I chose this restaurant to try something new. My daughter's turkey meatball pesto pasta dish didn't taste good. The meatballs were dry and the pesto sauce DID NOT taste like pesto so we asked the Waiter if she could change it for something else. Before... More

As tourists, we always love to go to restaurants that are in area were locals seem to go. The choice of pizza was great. The salad entrées were a little bit expensive but the price for the pizza was ok. So ended up only getting the pizza. There was a promotion on 3 types of wine. The bottle was 30$.... More

Overall the restaurant seemed pleasant enough ,nice decor and attentive staff. Got a table for 3 reasonably quickly and checked out the menu. The menu did seem a bit pricey and I went for the deal which included bottle of red wine @ 30 dollars plus 3 courses. My wife and sister in law went for the dishes of the standard menu.... Every time I go to the Beacon Theater on Broadway and stop at this place, Great "light" Italian food that is always good, has great service, and has reasonable prices for NYC. Have always has a good meal.

The outside seating was very pleasant. However, for the price of the menu, we expected very good pastas. My salad was bland with not much dressing. My pasta was essentially a lot of pasta, very little vegetables and very little sauce.

We stopped in here on our way to the Beacon Theatre and explained to the hostess that we only had an hour and fifteen before our show, so would probably just be ordering something light and quick. We were seated right away but unfortunately, waited over 20 minutes before our server even came by to offer water. I realize that... More
