While on vacation in New York we stopped by Da Mikele for a nice Italian meal. Some people in our party found the food to be excellent and others so so. Nice place to check out but also not a "you must try it restaurant."

Local Italian style restaurant with delicious starters and mains. Both had pasta - the speck and truffle spaghetti was outstanding. Great value. Will be returning for sure!

Nice place for a quick meal. Service very quick- had feeling they wanted us in and out! Food very nice- the Pizza crusts were not very palatable but everything else was fine. I echo comments said below. Prices reasonable save for the drinks which seemed well over the top.Staff very pleasant.

The place is just a simple Italian restaurant/pizzeria, nothing fancy. But the meal I had was the best pasta dish I've had in years. There's a Kitchen Menu and a Pizza Menu, and a few specials. I chose Rigatoni Al Ragu Napoletano. It consisted of rigatoni with a meatball, a sausage, and two baby back ribs, all smothered in a... More

We just stumbled upon this place after visiting a spa in TriBeCa. Fresh pasta and good wine and beer collection. It has a cool rustic downtown vibe. The staff/owners were nice and attentive. The bolognese was very good and my husband's cone pizza was unusual but tasty. I would definitely make it a part of after-spa routine. Average prices. Good... More

Came across this place on our first night in NY. Nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, wasn't very busy but it was early on a Monday night. Food was great... We had bruschetta to start and also meatballs.. Shared between 3... Was plenty as portions are very large ... My meatball was cold however but my two friends really enjoyed theirs.... More

Went for lunch on Mother's Day with 5 friends. Relaxed atmosphere with bar. We sat on wooden bench. Nice sized portions and we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 salads, and 3 entrees to share. Sauces for the pastas were just right, not too heavy.

This place wasn't busy and yet we were rushed through - the bill appeared along with our coffee, and we didn't even ask for the bill. Food was good - had calamari to start and it was delicious. My partner had meatballs for main and I had spinach ravioli. I had seven pieces of ravioli and the dish cost $20... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
