I always grab a meal at McFadden's each year I am in NYC since I love their popcorn shrimp. Crisp and lightly breaded with a nice sauce for dipping. Yum! The bar tender is also a great guy with a real NYC type of humor. Fun place!

Met with my family in this really pleasant Irish pub/restaurant. Excellent beer, food, service and atmosphere! The stuffed potatoes were delicious! The calamari could have been bigger, but they were fresh and tasty.

The food was barely passable even for a pub. I was with a group of nine women. They refused to give us separate bills. They refused to subdivide the bill. They refused to help us calculate our individual portions. The server couldn't even tell me the state tax rate and suggested that we divide the total by nine. So we... More

A group of us arrived as walk-ins. The service we had was good until we had an issue, the servings were large, and the prices were affordable, but the wings were dried out, tasteless, and the sauce was horrible. The caesar salad had no bacon, was tasteless and the dressing was not mixed in which makes it difficult to do... More

The bar was busy and the staff were very friendly. The choice of beer was great and the food the usual fare of a bar like this, but it was all good and the service was helpful and speedy.

Don't do it. Stopped in for sunday brunch. Horrible customer service and auto 18% gratuity added (probably because they know they are rude and terrible at their job). Bartender seemed rushed even though we were the only two people at the bar. She delivered two mediocre bloody marys and then was off like a shot without asking if we wanted... More

After getting stick in NYC for a night, the hotel recommended the place close by. The waitress was friendly and witty. The fish and chips were good. The side salad was huge. Great watering hole to go for a good meal. I will be back.

Called in on several occasions as it was near the hotel, but it didn't really improve. Beers served were very flat and the service was poor. Staff seemed very disinterested in serving you, maybe its a tourist issue, but did not feel welcome. Plenty of attention at shift changeover when tipping them, but then back to disinterested - we were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
