The food is good but the service we had earlier this week could have been more attentive and warmer. My husband’s steak frites was very good and my duck confit as well, except as with pretty much all duck confit plates, it’s never very big....More

Quaint, and Parisian in atmosphere and setting. It's small, but mighty. The steak frites were really good - well prepared with a delicious sauce. Very good service and good wines by the glass. We would return.

We added a day to our trip to Manhattan, solely to dine here again. As before, it was genuine and very authentic experience with delicious food and a fun, cozy atmosphere. Dick Confit was out of this world, pan roasted trout perfectly prepared, and desserts...More

Description
Le Parisien is the go-to neighborhood bistrot for Murray Hill, offering classic French food like steak frites, escargots and moules marinieres, paired with a well-edited list of french wines. Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere. Also open daily for lunch and brunch on weekends.
