Intimate. Good vibe. Good wine. Good food. Good service. What's more do a diner need? I went with a group of relatives who's on veggie for a day (no meat, no wine ... it's me, go figure ...). But we managed to have an enjoyable...More

This is exactly the kind of place we were looking for. We really wanted a neighborhood, hole-in-the-wall kind of place with a nice atmosphere and great food. At first I was very surprised at just how small it was - with a lot of tables...More

This is a very small restaurant and tables/patrons are close together and the noise level a little high. However, the charm here is the food which is excellent. Three of us really enjoyed our food - I had calves liver, the other two duck confit...More

Not your typical place to bring a 10 & 13 year old but wow was it amazing. The kids loved the small restaurant atmosphere and no frills that comes from the chain restaurants. Only seats 30-40 guests. The food was outstanding, get the homemade pasta...More

We enjoyed our meal, our food wasn't amazing but it was good. We have had better French cuisine in Manhattan but it was good. The owner's rudeness ruined our experience. He ignored requests for service then rolled his eyes when my wife or I would...More

Enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner while on a recent trip to NYC. The restaurant is small, only a few tables, but very quaint. We were seated in a make shift table near the front door and received personal attention from the owner. Steak frites was...More

Le Parisien is the go-to neighborhood bistrot for Murray Hill, offering classic French food like steak frites, escargots and moules marinieres, paired with a well-edited list of french wines. Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere. Also open daily for lunch and brunch on weekends.
