Had an early dinner at this Tiny but cute and comfortable restaurant. Would imagine it might get a little tight as the evening progresses. Staff was lovely and attentive. Authentic French fare but surprising large portions. Will certainly return.

We ate here on our last trip to NYC a few years ago. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and our meal so much that we make Le Parisien our go-to restaurant whenever we visit NYC. Last week, we ate here twice - for dinner and...More

Had lunch here, and loved it! NOMAD location, steps away from ESB. The quaint restaurant looks like it has been there forever, very friendly staff and the food was delicious! I started with the artichoke salad, which was SO good. The pork scallopini was insane...More

I just read a couple of negative reviews, but my experience last night, based on a friend's recommendation, was wonderful. This place is a combination of 1) genuine French bistro and 2) neighborhood restaurant frequented by regulars. Are the tables too close? Yes, but we...More

Dinner recently with a friend and the place was super busy on a Friday night. We really liked the vibe in this French bistro which is pretty authentic to the Paris style bistros. Very small restaurant so you will be closely seated among other tables....More

Ordered salmon, it was so overcooked it was obvious it had been previously cooked as they brought it out within 5 minutes of placing our order.

My wife and I tried this Bistro during a recent stay in Murray Hill. The place has a lot of charm, but has tables squashed too close together (even for a French cafe) making it so crowded that people literally have to yell to converse...More

Le Parisien is the go-to neighborhood bistrot for Murray Hill, offering classic French food like steak frites, escargots and moules marinieres, paired with a well-edited list of french wines. Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere. Also open daily for lunch and brunch on weekends.
