Very attractive spot, with excellent food. The zucchini roll appetizer was wonderful, and the chicken rollatini entrée was delicious.

We've eaten here for business several times as we do our NYC casting next door. The food is always excellent. The wine list is first rate. At least for lunch, it is rarely crowded and the service is attentive and good natured. If you're anywhere near this neighborhood, its worth a trip. For NYC, prices are somewhat high but the... My wife and I dined at Marcony last night. It's a lovely restaurant, and the staff and service couldn't have been better. Our water glasses were refilled so quickly it almost became a game to see how long they could remain half-full. The wine list wasn't extensive, but well-chosen and quite reasonably priced (by NYC standards). We had an excellent... More

First time there and we loved everything about the experience. The service was exemplary - non intrusive and caring, everything was served in a timely manner. Food was wonderful - we tasted the pear salad, the fried artichoke salad, and the squash blossoms - all were prepared to perfection. The halibut and swordfish were perfectly cooked. The tuna steak -... More

Gnocchi was wonderful, drinks were superb, but the care and concern of the waiters and especially the manager made it even better. Beautiful atmosphere, too.

First, this is not a real "Italian restaurant". I just don't like "ethnic" restaurants that are not run by someone who has ties to the home country, period. This is an establishment with mediocre non-authentic food, i.e. and impostor. Second, they have a two-tiered menu which is purposely designed to bilk you out of 2x than what one would be... More

Dear Chimata, I would like to express my apologies for your inconvenience however, I am Italian born and bred, our cuisine is exquisite and the prices are listed on the menu. Marcony Ristorante is a beautiful and successful restaurant, just maybe not your type. And we do welcome tourist, by the way and lucky us, for our steady clientele. I... More

We went as a party of eight on a business dinner. The restaurant came up with individual plates each with selection of five starters which were excellent. Tuna tartare was one, which was excellent. There were so many specials that the menu was almost superfluous. Pasta with lobster tails, clams and spicy tomato sauce seemed very popular, along with an... More

I have been to this restaurant several times but never took the time to write a review - oops! Four of us went to dinner last night and had a great time and really enjoyed the food. The waiter was helpful, personable and really contributed to the evening. Now, the food: zucchini flowers are excellent as was the buratta with... More

Small upscale Italian restaurant in Murray Hill. Although specials are too varied and long to remember, the tuna tartar was outstanding as was the broccoli flowers. Bronzino as main course was well prepared and fine for low calorie content. Other main courses with sauces probably a better choice.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
