After walking all day we decided to stop by in Chinatown for dinner. We decided to give Joe's Ginger a shot since it had a trip advisor sticker. Also the cash only sign was a "good sign" for us. Our first waitress was such a...More

Great setting in Chinatown. Got a window seat, had pork dumplings, sesame chicken and pan fried noodles with seafood. All very tasty. Good service with friendly staff. Went back a second night.

Very crowded, but that’s the New York Experience, right? We got the soup dumplings. Nice to sit down for a bit after walking all over Chinatown

Joe's Ginger is where New Yorkers go for soup dumplings. The sister restaurant to Joe's Shanghai but without the long lines. Best pork soup dumplings in the city. Try the garlic broccoli and lobster spring roll. This is no-nonsense, real Chinatown dining. Don't look for...More

The food was lovely although we didn't get a chance to even finish our starters before the mains came out. Upon arrival we thought things like the menus weren't clean and such but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. The waiter we had...More

The service was fast, but from the minute we were in the door the rudeness just escalated. The food was just OK, but the people should be in a different business. I think if you do not like people than don't be in a service...More

The food here is mediocre, but that wasn't the issue. There was no friendly greeting, food was practically thrown on to the table. As usual, tea and water was served without us requesting it and we asked them to remove the tea, We found the...More

Well, once again rude uncivilized greeting at a Chinatown restaurant. Been hoping for a decent Mapo tofu and Joe's Shanghai was on the short list. Thought we'd give the "sister" restaurant 4 doors down a try as Joe's was packed. Anyway..arrived at 8:50 pm on...More

The soup dumplings are the same as at Joe's Shanghai - that is to say, pretty decent. But I went with a friend and we ordered the supposedly spicy eggplant with chicken and prawns and it was, simply, one of the worst Chinese dishes I've...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
