We went for lunch and breakfast, as a family with 2 teenagers, the service is quick and efficient, the food is good and the price is fare. We had, for Lunch, salmon perfectly cooked and nice fresh crispy salad, same for steak and mash and grilled cheese. For breakfast, everything you can expect is good. We'll definitely go back there.

We decided to try somewhere outside of the hotel for breakfast and were not disappointed. Food was good, service was fast coffee was on constant top up. Seats were a little close and I'd prefer a little more personal space but all good. We found this by trip advisor which is just as good as a personal recommendation. Would definitely... More

We found this place just walking near our hotel. It was fast, good coffee and great breakfast. We went back a second day as it was cost effective (for New York). Great staff and very attentive. Mixture of local and tourists.

We happened upon this place by chance as it is about a block from the Waldorf Astoria where we were staying. It was lunchtime but we were lucky to get a table the staff were efficient & friendly and the food was very good with decent portions for a reasonable price. We visited twice in our 5 day stay.

The surrounding hotel community typical has overpriced breakfast, and other meals, due to their union workforces. The luncheonette is a great option avoid the high pricing. Otherwise, hey- its a diner. But the volume gives me confidence in the freshness of the product. I've eaten there hundreds of times- not hyperbole- and they truth tables quickly. As with most diners... More

I visited this diner twice based on other trip advisor reviews and received excellent service and meals. First visit was dinner, service very fast, portions very generous, food met all my expectations and price is very reasonable for Manhattan. Second visit was for breakfast. Just like my dinner visit, fast and courteous service, generous portions and food is tasty.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
