I have an insane sweet tooth and the crack pie satisfied that craving. No words to describe it-- it's something you have to try for yourself. As small as the actual location is itself, there is so much to choose from. Love this place!

Ummmmm, people, let's talk: Birthday cake truffles. Birthday cake ice cream shakes. I'm an ice cream and dessert snob and for me, it doesn't get better. It was a cold night in March, we walked from the Bowery north, through mountains of melting snow/ice to savor the goodness. There's a grumpy man living next door who told us essentially to... More

Their soft serve crack pie ice cream with corn flake topping!! Worth every last calorie!!!! the cereal milk is good too but not as flavorful as the crack pie! $7.00 for small soft serve, its pricey......but worth it!

Finally tried the famous "milk ice cream" from Momofuku milk bar. First deception: only 2 flavours are available. As for the ice cream itself, I hated it, it tasted like old milk and it was melting crazily fast.

Cereal milk shake and Birthday Cake Truffles! Really good! It can be a little hard to find this place, but really worth the trip.

we stopped by after a group outing for drinks. We wanted something fast which it was.. Really interesting menu - we had brussel sprouts, sausage and rice cakes, and duck dumplings. All were very good, if a bit expensive. Clearly a popular place!

I've been here twice, both at the behest of foodie friends, and each time it has been thoroughly disappointing. Their desserts are overpoweringly sweet and lack the taste or creative flair required to back up the hype.

Cereal milk soft serve with crunch was a winner! Nevermind, if it's 7deg C outside, make sure you try this out :)

We walked here previous to our show and it is well worth it. We had cereal milk ice cream with crunch and a crack pie - delicious! Calorific but worth it! There is no seating but enough room to stand and eat for a small group. They serve stumptown coffee which we are huge fans of and service was good.

We stopped by here to try the cereal milk soft serve- which we both agreed is delicious but we were actually more impressed by the cookies. The flavors are great- but the blueberry is unlike any other cookie I've ever tried. Be sure to buy a box to take cookies home from your trip to NYC

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
