We enjoyed a delicious dinner here on Sunday, Feb 19th, before we headed to a theater performance. The location is ideal, very close to several theaters...it was easily walkable for us, as we were staying near Times Square. I had made a reservation on OpenTable, and they immediately seated us on our arrival. We sat upstairs, which was nice and... More

In the theater district with a real surprise. Great food, very good service and attentive to the pre-theater diners. Good fixed menu as well as an open menu.

We had drinks and dinner here post Wed. matinee. The food was very good and New York priced. You'll pay a bit more than most other northeastern cities, but the quality was excellent. The drinks are similar to the food in price and just fine, though the bourbon on the rocks my wife got was oddly chilled and served in... More

I dropped into the Glass House after a play on broadway this week. This place is like a locals bar in the middle of the theatre district. Most peop[le know each other and are somewhat friendly. Actually very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. The bartender had injured her foot but like a trooper she kept working. I recommend you... More

Was close to the theater we attended and had a decent reviews on trip advisor. The wilted spinach salad was so big we shared it and was pretty darned good.....loved the lardons and marinated red onions. I had the lamb bolognese and my friend has the monkfish. Nice after theater meal.

My husband and I stopped here for drinks and appetizers prior to seeing Hamilton. It's located just around the corner from the Richard Rogers theater, so the location was perfect. We sat at the bar (lower level) and received GREAT service from the bar tender (I'm pretty sure her name was Morgan). She was super friendly, funny and definitely knew... More

My husband surprised me by taking me to New York after Christmas and had spent a long time looking for the right thing to do on New Year's Eve. Well, I can tell you, he certainly found it. Our waitress was quite possibly the funniest I have ever met - she may not have been the best but I think... More

You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm and truly makes the customer feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible. Executive Chef Craig Cupani has created a contemporary American menu that sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
