This college bar is really quite a find! We visited on Boxing Day evening and enjoyed $9 beer pitchers, some of the best wings I have ever eaten and some great music!

Had a great time at this bar. The third option that was nearby at the time, according to google maps, as i narrowed my decision down by comparing each of their beer menu's, online. (not outrageously large, but would fulfill most requests, i believe) After walking downstairs, i was warmed with accommodation. I was also blessed with minimal damage to... More

Happy Hour at this place is awesome! A friend and I were barhopping this past Tuesday night (10/16) and we visited four of the establishments in the city owned by this company (Stumble Inn, Jake's Dilemma, and The Gin Mill were the other three we visited). We got to Down The Hatch very early (around 4pm) and there were only... More

This place is basically a college bar that exists in the busiest city in the world - and that's not a bad thing. The wings are actually pretty good. The beer (although limited in selection) is cold and cheap. The atmosphere is like a frat party in junior year. It's a completely acceptable place to watch a game, have bar... More

Down the hatch is an amazing college bar with great drink specials. It is small and cozy and just great for next day stories. I come here all the time for dollar beers and just good fun.

This is probably one of the best deals you can find in NYC. Every single Sat & Sun from 1-6, you get all the beer and wings you can ask for only $21. This deal can't be beat. The wings are actually very good, and they come with waffle fries or onion rings. The beer with this deal is only... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
