Ate breakfast twice at this breakfast and lunch place near the 911 Memorial. Very busy but they move people in and out quickly with very fast service. The weekday specials include coffee which is only priced at $2. The eggs and pancakes are very good and the prices are OK for NYC.

Sorry Georges. Perhaps we came on an off day. I normally don't bother writing bad reviews... Our taxi and hotel recommended Georges, so we went for breakfast. One of our worst meals in New York for sure. The coffee / cappuccino had cinnamon on top. The meals were, at best dull and boring. Very 2 star. We didn't go back.... More

During a recent visit to NYC (my home town) we visited this restaurant. It was a Sunday morning and there was a 9/11 fund raising marathon going on, so although it was crowded, according to the hostess, it was not as crowded as it usually gets. The hostess was so sweet and efficient and she kept things running smoothly. The menu... More

We finished at the 9/11 Museum around 2pm and we were starving. We were walking towards Battery Park and stumbled upon George's. The menu is a fantastic mash up of breakfast and all sorts of sandwiches and burgers. I got a bacon and egg sandwich and sweet potato fries. Everything was really good!

We were a group of 10 who had just dropped our son off to meet his group to ride the Ferry over to Ellis Island looking for a great brunch spot as some people wanted lunch others wanted breakfast. Well, George's had it all AND we did not have to wait too long to be seated. We sat on the... More

Wow, this is a fantastic restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals. 3 adults and 2 children. Lots of locals enjoying lunch so you know it's a great place! Perfect spot if you are visiting the 9/11 Memorial. Enjoy a walk along the Hudson river after lunch.

I work in the area and want to go out for lunch sometimes. This place is reasonably priced with good food. They get you in and out quickly if you want to move fast but they don't push you if you want to sit and drink coffee. The food is made on the premises and it was very tasty

I've been there for breakfast on a Saturday: it's usually crowded but tombe ho est I haven't been surprised by the food. It was good, but nothing special in my humble opinion. I got a pancake with hot chocolate, and both were just fine. I still remember the fabulous pancake at Clinton Backing Company in LES (also its queue, to... More

The restaurant is located close the 911 memorial and is a busy place. The waiter (Dionisio) was very nice and explained the menu in detail. Sadly the food leaves a lot To be desired. I ordered a Mediterranean omelette with spinach feta cheese and tomatoes. The omelette came in the form Of smashed eggs with the feta cheese sitting on... More
