The special was a porterhouse bone in with balsamic. It was the single best steak I have ever eaten. My fellow diners thought the same. Magnificent

Here is a restaurant that exudes the NY style of ambience ,service, and good food , whilst not being overly expensive. The combination of bar and restaurant is well designed out, with a selection of booths and tables away from the bar noise, and offering intimate corners and window views. A wide selection of wines an food choices makes it... More

Visited for dinner, this time with a friend and enjoyed as always. Service is very good and food is excellent. We had a Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa valley which was a suggestion from the staff and worked very well with the filet mignon. Steak itself is perfectly cooked and always enjoyed it here. If you are of the calories counting... More

Restaurant located in a beautiful building with a great interior. We dined in one of their private rooms downstairs. The entrance to these rooms goes through a huge safe door which was very cool. I had the oysters to begin with and the seared tuna as a main dish. The piece of tuna they gave me was huge and absolutely... More

Although this was the first time we ate at the Capital Grille at their Broadway location, we've had a pair of previous dining experiences at their restaurant on 42nd Street near Grand Central. Both times were great, and one of these was a special occasion that they made really special for us. I've traveled enough to know that even when... More

By far the best service I have ever received in a restaurant. We pre booked for our anniversary meal which turned into our engagement meal. My partner got the time wrong so we showed up an hour late but they quickly accommodated us while we got our drinks in the bar. The barman was very chatty and made me his... More

Went for lunch during restaurant week 2017. Had a tasty lettuce wedge appetizer. My dry aged steak was delicious and came with a green salad. The tiramisu dessert was yummy. My friend also enjoyed the clam chowder and hamburger. Portions were good and the service was friendly.

We spend an evening with the team in the Capital Grille. It was definitely ok, but not like a steak house evening you will never forget. The steak was ok, but you can get much better steaks for the same (high) price. It's definitely a good restaurant, but I have enjoyed much better ones in this city ....

Saturday night dinner for two. We had the tuna and the filet mignon on the bone with a side of spinach. Food was delicious. Even the spinach was excellent! Wine list is great although on an annoying iPad app The issue was the service. We got a crappy table near the door even though the place was half empty. After... More
