I have been here before and thought it was pretty good. After being back here tonight for the expensive 'jamon Iberico' I have been able to resolve to never come here again. Good luck with your mediocre food :)

I went here last month for the second time, and it really is awesome. Its super small with high chairs (if your knees are bad, it might not be the best place for you) but the food is generally great and the staff is unbelievably friendly. I would totally come back here. Great for dates.

This is a small, charming nook with a lovely ambience and friendly staff. The Pulpo is excellent. The Gambas (shrimp with garlic) is another must try. We also had the Dehesa which was good. The Sangria was also nice. If you're in the mood for tapas I'd highly recommend this place

The menu is extremely short, the dishes I asked were ok. The high note was the service which was very good.

This is a small place with a big heart! The waitress couldn't have been more accommodating. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

This place is such a hidden gem. The service is top notch. The ham selections are unbelievably delicious and moist. The ham here is fresh. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE, it is AMAZING! The cheese selections are also top notch...

great food! the owner is a true raconteur, and is able to tell you about the hams, the cheeses, the wines, or anything else you'd like to know in several languages! a delicious, fun place with a lively atmosphere.

Went there for an early dinner, the service was excellent, the tapas were very good, and good variety, specially the jam and cheeses. All the other dishes we tried were very well prepared, they have a very good wine list too. We didn't stay for the nightlife, but a few people we went with have gone, and they say at... More

This restaurant is tiny but very cosy. I was here for a private family party which was great. The staff were inviting and very friendly. Great wine & sangria! Superb selection of tapas. Look forward to returning when next in New York

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
