Delicious meals. The rice and the maroon spice really make the dishes special! I think the spice is sumac. Either way it is great! Saffron ice cream is delicious!

Lots of different menu items - many of which I have rarely, if ever, seen before. We went as a large family group. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent.

This restaurant had some of the best Middle Eastern food that I have ever had. We started the meal with the complimentary fresh baked flat bread that was warm and crispy, but chewy at the same time, accompanied by wonderful dips. They must have a tandor in back to make such good bread. We ordered the Baba ghanoush, a dip... More

I visited her with a friend on her recommendation, and it was great! The servers were helpful in explaining the dishes, the food came out hot and with minimal waiting, and throughout the meal and time spent in conversation afterward, we were never hurried, never bothered except to remove dishes and refresh water glasses, and our server was professional and... Best Persian food ever! Thai main course was awesome. The dessert was to die for. And the service was outstanding!

A friend invited me here and my first impression was very good but the impression didn't hold: we were here for a light lunch and I think it would be a better choice for dinner. The food didn't meet my expectations. The soup (a vegetable gumbo with noodles) wasn't hot enough and as it cooled down the taste got blander... More

Stopped here for lunch while in town to visit friends. This was our first visit to a Persian restaurant and we were very pleased with everything we had....and we tried a lot. We shared several different appetizers and I had the Khoresh Fesenjan stew as an entree. Served over rice in a manner similar to Indian and very good. Sweeter... More

For years now my wife and I have been eating the delicious food at the Ravagh grill in Roselyn Heights on Long Island, always stopping there on our way out to the beach. The latest iteration of this great restaurant is located on First Avenue in the heart of the best restaurant area in New York, the East Village. Their... More

Excellent choices -- especially the marinated chicken kabobs and the lamb kabobs -- definitely ask for the green rice. The malbec from Argentina makes a perfect fit for a red wine with dinner. This is a small restaurant, and it was constantly complet.
