Went in twice for a beer. First time I went , I had 2 bud light at a cost of 7 dollars. 2nd time I had 1 bud light at a cost of 9 dollars. I wasn't too hot at maths , but a 4 year old could tell you something's wrong. Me being British, I paid and said nothing... More

This place is too funny. I would have never otherwise entered, but on a recent trip, after an afternoon at MOMA, I was looking for a place to meet a friends for a happy hour drink. Find the awning, descend the staircase, and you'll walk right into someplace our of Texarkana. Complete with mechanical bull taking center stage.

Went to Johnny Utah's for a business gathering and I was very happy. Food was excellent and the bartenders are spot on. Food: Typical American Bar food, and some BBQ offerings. All of which was cooked quite well. Bar: This place has more table seating than they do bar seating. Since the bar crams up fast, I wouldn't reccomend eating... More

I heard this place was starting Live Music on Wednesday nights, so I had to check it out. There doesn't seem to be too many places in NYC that do live music anymore so it was nice to see. The artist was a young guy who played all sorts of country music covers and even some of his own originals,... More

Great place for dinner and drinks with friends. The place is a little nosy but it is a fun night. If you are willing for a challenge, try the bull ride.

It was December, we were near Rockefeller Center and everything was crowded we saw this place and decided to enter. I ordered the pulled pork, was surprised that didn’t saw any ribs on the menu, my wife had the Cuban sub, both were good generous portions, the pork had good salad, but I feel not enough bbq sauce, They have... I have read the previous reviews and I respect their opinion but I've got to say, when we went here we were not just looked after we were feted Maybe it was because we are 60+ and visiting New York for the first time but the food and drink was excellent and the service was first class You could say... Really can't give an overall review on any drink or food because we didn't stay long enough- maybe 15 minute. We had a group of six, arrived and were seated in a booth right around the riding bull and simply left there. We tried several times to get a staff's attention but no one came by. Grabbed our coats and... More

I work around the corner, went with a co worker to enjoy lunch and it was terrible, do not come here, so disappointed to see people leaving so upset and the waitress saying the same nonsense. The chef must have left because people, were just getting up and leaving after waiting for 1 hour. We tuffed it out and when... More

Description
In July 2007, New York welcomes Johnny Utah's, the urban cowboy experience, to Rockefeller Center. The Johnny Utah's experience begins with cuisine full of flavors & spices which embody the real meaning of Southwestern food. With hearty recipes of our cultural ancestors, Johnny Utah's offers a menu full of zesty Texan BBQ ribs, savory steak fajitas, & authentic Mexican tequila. Almost every seat in the house has a view of the dining room's main attraction, Manhattan's only mechanical bull. Showcasing the full essence of the Southwestern theme, the beast is theatrically surrounded with cascading metal chains & burning candles that echo "rings of fire," signifying the celebration of the icon. The interior was designed as an interpretation of an old western mining shaft with salvaged antique tiles & pony-hide furniture. Johnny Utah's is a place where the music's always pumping and the drinks are always flowing. We have redefined the urban cowboy experience through our unique promotions and promiscuous atmosphere. Cowgirls, cowboys and rock stars of all kinds are encouraged to come in and get wild.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
