The working staffs are really calm, nice ,and not noisy. Whatever I eat ,whenever I go, always delicious without changes.

You quickly get over the unassuming entrance, the spiral staircase and the matchbox size dining room. You must imagine you are in Tokyo and everything will be authentic! We had the Shabu Shabu which is very difficult to find in the USA. Their Shabu Shabu was exactly like Japan...dipping sauces and all! Lovely vegetables and exquisite beef!

This is my new fave Japanese in E20s. Wonderful. Had delectable cod roe starter and perfectly cooked mackerel. Enjoyed the lunch. Don't hesitate at the stairs down entrance. Enjoy the little spiral staircase up to the restaurant. The food and service are wonderful. A hidden gem really. Try it!

The first time having sukiyaki in the US, very tender meat and lovely broth, the udon noodles were simply great. Wish there could be more veggies.

Could be in Kyoto. Very homey, delicious, and good service. Most of the clientele the night we visited were Japanese, good place to go if you're feelung homesick! No, it's not a fancy gourmet place, but good value and it's exactly what it claims to be.

We were expecting to have good Sukiyaki here from previous reviews but was totally let down. Service was good but food was average, deco is tired and old. Am unlikely to come back and would recommend you go somewhere else for Sukiyaki.

Super authentic Japanese shabu shabu restaurant that was a nice little find. The place is pretty small so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. Dined here with a couple of friends and we were all impressed - the duck ramen was probably the highlight of our meal! We got the shabu shabu to share and being spoiled by Chinese/Mongolian... More

Visited here for a quick lunch. Had no idea what it was, aside from Japanese. The entry method is unusual, entering from the basement level and then ascending almost immediately to the second floor. I did not try any of their shabu-shabu or sukiyaki (which evidently are their good points)< given the constraints of time, but I did try their... More

Ignore the looks of this place - they are deceiving. First thing you will notice there that the great majority of customers ar Japanese. Certainly this indicative of authentic ethnic food. You may not like some selections, but you will certainly love many. Personally, I would not recommend ordering tasting menu - many of the dishes I could not understand.... More
