Grabbed a Sunday brunch here with some friends. Overall food was very tasty. Portions generous. Definitely recommend and would return for dinner- i hear it's quite good.

We really enjoyed our experience at Yerba Buena. The manager that night, Igor, was over the top friendly and made sure we were well cared for. Our server was also attentive and allowed us to enjoy the food and atmosphere. All the appetizers (from ceviches to empanadas to tacos) were excellent. The main entrees (mixed grill, paella) were really full... More

Came here on a Sunday evening to celebrate my birthday. Discovered it simply by its good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was not too busy and Juanelias, our waiter was really lovely. We are from England so he helped us out by telling us the best route to get back to our hotel right before we left. Portion sizes... More

My wife and I dined here a few evenings ago. Started with mojitos.... absolutely delicious; never had a better one! We were expecting good things but were almost overwhelmed by the quality of the tasty seasoned dishes and very friendly staff. Kudos to our server Yvette. She made an enjoyable evening better with her warmth, attention to detail, and efficient... More

Quaint little restaurant with excellent food - sufficient choices to meet most appetites. I ordered the carnitas special which was spicy, tasty and good.

Was highly recommended to visit and I can see why. Wonderful friendly service from our Venezuelan waitress. Cocktails that revealed their flavours gradually. Fresh tuna ceviche followed by succulent tender pork shoulder. I really couldn't recommend more highly!

Had such a wonderful experience as this restaurant crushes the food and service categories (atmosphere enjoyable for sure). The black cod and Peruvian corn was better than what I enjoyed in Lima. All the dishes totally rocked. Best guacamole as it was eclectic and delicious.

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
