I was blown away by both the quality, deliciousness, and service that we found at MarieBelle's. This place is a hidden gem in New York and was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. My husband had the Aztec dark hot chocolate and I had cinnamon and nutmeg milk hot chocolate. The Aztec was very rich and decadent and... More

Very pleasant atmosphere, a little bit of Paris. Excellent, friendly service. Went with my wife for a an early "lunch". Nice menu, but we stuck to the chocolate. we had the spicy 65% and the Jefferson hot chocolates. both great, but liked the Jefferson better. Had a very good crepe au chocolat. Would return there.

Had the white hot chocolate with Tahitian vanilla. Unbelievably tasty. Get a large, you're gonna want it.

We happened to be walking by, and being chocolate lovers, our interest was piqued! You walk in to a cut little shop of chocolates in all forms... and then there's a little cafe. You can order coffee drinks, hot chocolate, and decadent dessert. We ordered the Iced Aztec Chocolate, it was perfect. While we were waiting they gave us a... More

Sweet little cafe and chocolate shop! It is easy to get to from midtown via the subway. I did not get a chance to taste the savory menu items, but the chocolate fondue was delicious! Great neighborhood to walk around, as well~

My daughter and I stopped by here, looking for a place an hour and a half before we were to celebrate her dad's birthday at a dinner elsewhere. She was a little hungry and I wanted a cup of tea. OH MY GOD!!! I saw the sign that it was a tea shop but we had already passed it and... More

Unless you already know of its existence you would think this was just a posh Chocolate Shop, But behind is the greatest little tearoom you would ever find. In fact not just a tearoom but an upmarket restaurant with a great menu and very well priced. As one would expect chocolate figures heavily on the desert menu along with American... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
