We stayed in this hotel and went there 3 times. All 3 times the staff were not friendly and there wasn't enough of them.

Came to NYC for a family wedding. We were all staying in the hotel & had heard a lot about Plunge. Throughout the stay we went up there a few times. Everytime we were greeted by rude staff who were more bothered about how they...More

Got charged for someone else's drink, the martini wasn't upto standards, the staff were rude when confronted about the mix-up with the bill, I just paid for it because I couldn't be bothered to argue in public. Otherwise, the views are really nice, nice music...More

Nice view. Good music. Old shabby decor and furniture. Husband went to get another round of drinks and a hostess came by, saw me sitting alone and decided it's a reserved table and shooed me out of our table

Admittedly it wasn't a Friday or Saturday night but I was underwhelmed by this bar. We were initially going to stay in the hotel for the "cool" factor but it didn't hit me as very cool. We went to Baccarat and had a great time...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

The rooftop bar is open, does not require entrance fee and does not require reservations. It does appear to be a venue that might be closed for private events. My wife and I were not impressed. As I stated in my review... More
