Very good! I loved the vegan wanton soup and fast service. We ordered a few dumplings one of them we didn't like so left it on the table they didn't charge for it very kind we didn't ask. The dumplings we did eat where delicious especially the spinach mushroom dumpling. Yumm!

Our group of six tried a bit of everything and was never disappointed. Much of the dim sum doesn't have a lot of vegetables so you might want to order something with a lot of broccoli etc in it from the regular menu to supplement. But this was a wonderful and reasonably priced place.

The food was extraordinary! Two of us ordered four appetizers and a main dish, for variety. Each bite was better than the next. Service was excellent and the price was right. I'll be back anytime I'm near Chinatown!

I enjoy dining in and buying orders to go. On my last visit to Vegetarian Dim Sum House, it was a bit disappointing. I ordered a Fried Noodle with Three Kinds of Mushrooms. I've had this particular dish many times. When I got home, I was a bit disappointed.....the mushrooms and vegetables were not cleaned properly. There were bits of... More

Devastated by the discovery that my beloved House of Vegetarian had closed, I remembered the existence of Vegetarian Dim Sum House just around the corner. It's an okay vegetarian restaurant, with a fairly expansive menu. Yes, they have a decent dim sum menu. Decor is nothing to write home about. You're not here for the luxurious surroundings. My main complaint... More

Okay! Its awesome to find an all vegetarian in Chinatown. Its a quaint little restaurant and a large amount of regulars to frequent this place. Staff is super friendly and food is piping hot every single time.

After receiving a local recommendation - I brought my non vegetarian family to this spot in Chinatown and it was fabulous. Great selection of local fare - dim sum, rice dishes, deserts. The place was not crowded and service was fast. We were given menus with descriptions and a note card with check boxes to order our items. Very wide... More

The menu looked interesting here but they do not serve in the typical push carts around with what you want. You must choose items unseen . The service on the whole was not very good and to me it is not worth the trip unless you are a vegeterain.

I love, love, love this place! Go with a group and go for the dim sum. Get a large soup (Wonton is my favorite) and 4-5 dim sum to split between four people and you'll leave with full bellies and full wallets. You'll spend less than ten dollars each! But bring cash. No cards accepted. Enjoy!

Been here about 5/6 throughout the summer until November and it has not disappointed me since. Even my meat loving family is hooked! Great service and tasty meals.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
