They burned the kid's grilled cheese. Seriously, how do you do that? You do that by being staffed by inexperienced cooks who are too busy to care about the food they are making. We were really disappointed in our meal. We've been to other Chili's so we know they aren't ever all that good, but the food was really bad... More

Burgers and fried food. Lots of fried food and more fried food. Go for drinks and nachos or a burger.

Busy, busy, busy but great food. For to go orders, call to place order and call for progress on pick up. This Chili's is a very popular local haunt. And after tasting their rib eye steak I understand why.

We had dinner here one night on our visit to Carlsbad Caverns. What can I say--- If you've been in Chili's before, they are pretty much all the same. They have a children's menu and serve pub food. We enjoyed the fact that it was in walking distance from the Hampton Inn where we stayed. The only complaint that we... More

After a busy morning at the Carlsbad Caverns, we rolled into town ready for a big lunch. I ordered the 3 items - 2 enchiladas and a taco, served with beans and rice. My hubby had the ribs and fries. We had no room for dessert! We enjoyed the wonderful flavours and could barely find room for the generous portions.... More

Food was good, but when you order out, it appears they are under staffed. I waited a long, long time for an order, twice, that I had called in 30 minutes prior to pick up.

This place was really crowded. But we were lucky enough got a spot in the bar area. Our waitress was super friendly. We got the table side guacamole. It was surprisingly really tasty. Our orders were all correct and good.

We ate at this Chili's our first night after arriving in Carlsbad. We normally look for unique locally owned restaurants when we travel, but we got into town late, and just wanted something easy and quick. The Chili's was located directly in front of the Hampton we were staying at - quick walking distance. Compared to the Chili's in our... More

In the past I have had trouble with other chili locations. They would be dirty, food would be cold, there would be bugs, or rude staff. There are not an abundance of choices for sit down restaurants in Carlsbad, so after some prodding, I decided to give this Chili's a try. I probably will not visit any other Chili's location...
