The shop is hidden behind The Chocolate Sparrow on main street. They serve Emack and Bolio's ice cream. Lots of unususual choices. My favorite is the Almond Joy.

Hidden away behind the Chocolate Sparrow on Main Street, A Nice Cream Shop is just the place for a cone or shake or a cold drink on a warm summer evening. Very good choices of ice cream and sorbets, served in cups, cones of waffle cones (ala Emack & Bolio's menu) to please the taste of everyone. Efficient and welcoming... More

We've beent o "A Nice Cream Shop" - it is a fixture in the heart of Wellfleet serving premium Emack and Bolio's ice cream. My favorite flavor is Beantown Buzz, rich coffee ice cream with swirls of chocolate and chocolate covered coffee beans - YUM! The Wellfleet mix of vanilla with caramel swirls and chocolate chips is also good -... More

So many great combinations, a summer ice cream shop, imaginative flavor combinations which can vary from evening to evening, bright eyed entusiastic staff in a wonderful summer vacation town, how could you go wrong. Even if you had a mediocre dinner, which is possible in the area, you can save the evening by finishing with dessert from "A Nice Cream... More

First, there's some confusion about the name: is it "A Nice Cream Store" as the sign at the street says, or is it "Emack & Bolio's" as the sign on the front wall says? Or is it both? Regardless, their ice cream and sorbets -- available in cup, cake cone, waffle cone, sundae, etc. -- are delightful. Be forewarned, though:... More

My favorite thing about this shop is its fantastic combinations with coffee ice cream. I loved the beantown buzz (with chocolate espresso beans) and the mud pie (coffee ice cream with cookie bits and other goodies). But there are plenty of flavors available each day, so I'm sure there's something for everyone. There is some seating, but not a ton,... More

We happened upon this ice cream shop near the parking lots in downtown Wellfleet. With unseasonably hot temperatures, we had ice cream several times this trip and this was undoubtedly the best. It was so good that I was googling Emack & Bolio's on the 1000 mile drive home to see if it was available anywhere else. (The sign out... More
