On our last day in San Diego, my wife and I decided to try the Harbor House. It sits in a collection of small shops behind the Manchester Grand Hyatt, with a deck that has a terrific view. That is all the good I have to say about this place. I will focus on my dinner, which was paella. except... More

We dined here as a couple from the UK on our first night in San Diego, and were looking for a simple meal to start things off and after a stroll from the Marriott Marquis we chanced upon this restaurant. It's situated in a lovely spot in Sea Port village, but when we first looked inside, the place was empty... More

Such a fun place to have a glass of wine or dine. Our fish was a bit tasteless, but the steak was delicious. Service was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time there. If you can, get a table outside and have wine and people watch while overlooking the water

Given I travel a lot for business by myself, I most often have dinner at a bar where I can at least have someone to talk to. And that was the case at Harbor House last night. The bar staff was friendly and engaging and there were a couple of New Yorkers who added some lively, and colorful conversation. The... More

The Harbor House is a long-time part of the Sea Port Village. The menu is promising and the food is good but not especially creative. It seemed a bit pricey. The service was excellent.

Easter Dinner at Sunset was a very memorable experience.. All of the food was cooked properly and the service was good. Sitting upstairs is the best place in my opinion. They do have an elevator for those unable to use the stairs. A good choice if you want to experience Seaport Village before or after dinner.

Many restaurants can be found along the harbor walk in San Diego. A pleasant surprise on a balmy spring evening was the Harbor House which emphasizes a seafood menu with a few other options. Coconut shrimp with the sweet pineapple sauce was a good start. Ciopponi was delicious and the last spoonful was hard to let go. Sourdough bread up... More

The Harbor House opened in 1980, and serves fresh fish, shellfish, premium steaks and local draft beers. We offer informal dining upstairs and on the outside decks as well as tablecloth/quiet dining downstairs. Come and enjoy our great city and harbor views. Walking distance from the San Diego Convention Center, we are an ideal spot for banquets and private events.
