I've been to this place for breakfast so many times (out of sheer desperation, no other place to go), and I was underwhelmed every single time. If you can spare 15-minutes, drive towards Carmel Mountain and even Poway for better breakfast options.

The incredible egg is now the incredible cafe. My husband ordered the banana french toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the Belgium waffles and they were tough. Sent them back for a 2nd order and they were tough as well. Stay away from the waffles and you may have a good meal. Staff was very friendly though

Great little place, right off the freeway and will be our forever stop on our way home from our Mexico trips. We were looking for a place just like this and were so happy we stopped. The employees were friendly and the food was good. My husband had the buckwheat pancakes and I had sausage and eggs. The prices were... More

OK place for breakfast. Food was kind of middle of the road, but prices were fair for the quality. large volumes of food.

We went here twice. The first time rated a 5-star, the 2nd time a 2-star. Day 1 we had wonderful, attentive service. Day 2 there seemed to be some confusion. After our waitress took our order we never saw her again. Someone else brought the food, but no one checked on us and we had to wave someone down for... More

My fiancé and I came here for breakfast on our last day visiting San Diego. Right off the bat I knew we picked a good place to eat! The gentleman who took us to our seat was so friendly and welcoming as well as our waitress. Smiles go a long way! We ordered the Steak and Eggs plate as and... More

This place makes a terrific Lox Benedict and some great omelettes. Their pancakes and waffles are good, too. They recently started serving pie at lunch and it is delicious.

Our pancakes, french toast, and bacon were all excellent. The potatoes could have used more browning and more seasoning. Would eat here again.

Visited here with the kids for breakfast. Tidy little place with good breakfast options. I had the Eggs Benedict, which was good but not great. Homemade hollandaise, eggs cooked perfectly. The hash browns were undercooked for my tastes and were also cold. The kids had chocolate chip pancakes, which they said they liked but were a bit on the dry... More

it is a nice little neighborhood place for breakfast or lunch. No dinner served. you can eat inside but we prefer, weather permitting, to eat on their pleasant patio. the egg omlettes are enough for two people to share. The blueberry/banana pancakes are delicious. We get food from there at least every 2 or 3 weeks.
