Loved our steaks and sides! Great nostalgic vibe with excellent service. Awesome location in the Gaslamp quarter!

The place seems more like a bar than a restaurant. High music and people getting in and out all the time. I had the baked goat cheese and roasted garlic, and it was good but very, very fat. The cheese etc was accompanied by 3 large pieces of (very good!) white bread, which was roasted/soaked in butter. A very large... More

Really fancied a steak whilst in town but the price made us hesitate a little - could have got cheaper elsewhere but we liked the look of the place, everyone seemed to be having fun and the reviews were good. In the end we are so glad we went for it as the food was cooked to perfection (both steaks... More

Read all the reviews,on Trip Advisor that made this restaurant sound like a great local independent steakhouse, however my experience was not what I expected. I made our reservation on Trip Advisor / Open Table weeks in advance, but upon arrival, we were seated in a busy and noisy bar area rather than the main dining room. Although the service... More

Great place for lunch & dinner, awesome food and very good service. I was here twice in my short stay of four days and both occasions, was very well served. Try their Yellowfish Tuna and Wagyu Cheese Burger.

Came here for a group dinner and was recommended the steaks. An excellent suggestion and one we did not regret. Most ordered the rib eye. The "lite" meal of a house burger was huge! Great food, great service and very enjoyable evening. One tip: they are kind of open plan - open doors and windows which is pretty, but COLD.... More

This is a steak house ... we stopped for a light dinner. We each had a bowl of soup .. both were delicious. and an appetizer. Finished with a housemade chocolate cake ... Excellent service and the trays passing us to other tables looked very good.

Had a business dinner with colleagues during a scientific meeting held at the convention center. Conveniently located; only a few steps away. Several entrées were ordered and they looked very good. I had the Chilean Sea Bass ($42) with creamed spinach ($8) and sautéed fresh corn ($8). The corn is delicious. The fish was tasty, but was not my first... More

This place is average at best. Service a bit slow. Food showed up cool. Nice atmosphere and good location.

Nice steak dinner with a great choice of wines. Nice to have a sommelier as your waiter. Attentive and friendly, great recommendations. We showed up early for dinner- as we skipped lunch and had been around town the whole day. They were not bothered by our overly casual attire. Good location. Priced like other steakhouses. Recommend!
