This place is great, I love the sushi here and the chefs. They can tell you all about the fish and make amazing dishes if you just ask them to create you something.

I was excited to try this restaurant after reading many raving reviews on tripadvisor and yelp. Umm, Quite disappointing. We started out with two appetizers which were soft shell crabs and tuna tartare. Tuna tartare had amazingly pretty presentation, however the taste was disappointing. The sauce, which I think had a bit of Gochujang or some kind of chili sauce... More

I never expect Japanese restaurants to be authentic, but this one offered a real Japanese food experience. Our server and the owner were both Japanese and the food was exquisite and the prices reasonable. Not only is this not Benihana, it isn't a standard avocado-in-everything Japanese/California sushi restaurant, although I seem to remember that avocado is available if you're looking... More

This is a simple looking restaurant but very authentic and good priced sushi. I had Salmon sashimi (fresh and tasty), the Shrimp tempura role and also Tuna Maki and would recommend it all. It's quite small so it's worth coming early or trying to book.

Maybe it was expensive because we ate two of everything! You have to have the dynamite baked lobster roll thing. I usually go authentic, and that was all amazing. My wife gets these fru-fru rolls and this one was enough to covert me. Wow.

Went to Taka last night, there were 3 of us. We used the sushi and sashimi self order sheet to build our custom share plate. Was all very good, service excellent and very reasonable cost including a few beers.

If you like sushi and sashimi, this is the place to go. The quality is outstanding, and the variety of sushi/sashimi is amazing. You can tell it is true, high quality sushi, since many of the customers who come here are Japanese. I can strongly recommend the halibut sashimi and the spider rolls.

I went for a quick dinner. Everything was smooth and fast. Salad and the main dish fresh and very high quality. Recommended.
