Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Something different for reasonable prices. We had a lot of fun and would recommend lemon cream brulee for dessert. You won't regret giving this place a shot especially if you get Humberto as your server😉

Another great Cohen restaurant - I suggest locals go on a Tuesday when some museums are free. The wait can look long but its rarely more than 20 minutes.

My husband and I went to Prado for the first time to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. It ended up being on "Date Night Tuesday" which has to be one of San Diego's best deals. The ambiance was amazing, our waiter was as well, and the food was superb! I ordered the lobster bucatini and my husband ordered the mustard... More

First things first, though you might get seated eventually, please call ahead to reserve a table especially on weekends around lunchtime. As a member of the museums in Balboa Park, we love visiting the Prado for lunch over the weekend. The complimentary crisps and hummus that come out to your table are great while waiting for your food to arrive.... More

We had a long wait to get in and then a long wait for our food, but there aren't many restaurants of this type in Balboa Park, so we didn't mind. The menu was varied and the food was very good. We would go again.

The Humus and flat Bread are always a good start. The Calamari is unique and ranks as some of the best I have ever had. The Paella is a culinary treat ,we have never been disappointed by anything on the menu. Whenever we visit San Diego The Prado is a must before we leave town!!

Everything about the Prado is amazing. Our favorite foods are the skewers and the calamari. For dessert, you must try the tres leches. Also the sangria is really good. The location is amazing and the view is so cool at night. you can see the planes flying in to the airport overhead. this is our go to for special occasions,... More

If the weather is perfect, must sit outdoor. Food was great, the interior is pretty, the atmosphere is awesome.
