As a native San Diegan you would have thought I would have enjoyed this establishments goods many times over but it took me 30 years to finally get to indulge in these goods. My brother and I visited around 10:30-Noon on a Wednesday and the wait was approx. 10-15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all since I've heard it can... More

Worth a visit for the photo opportunity - dishes are ridiculously large and two kids and I could have shared just one pancake meal and been well fed. But the food was fine rather than fantastic, proving that size isn't everything.

We were told this was a great place to go. It certainly was !! It was a short wait to get in (with coffee and water available). It was well worth the wait. Our server was very friendly (and cute). The portions were huge - it may be wise to share if you aren't a big eater. We took our... More

Hash House A Go Go is located in a small maroon house. It was packed on a Thursday morning at 10:00, so I can only imagine the line on a weekend. We got seated right away. My husband and I shared the meatloaf hash, which was delicious. The meatloaf and potatoes were served with a biscuit, 2 eggs, and fruit.... More

Food was excellent and massive. It was pretty loud and hard to hear others at our table. I would visit again.

No one should ever leave Hash House feeling the least bit hungry. The portions are enormous and the food is very good. Highly recommend the Hammered Pork Tenderloin sandwich, which is an 18 ounce slab of pounded, breaded and fried pork tenderloin that lays on a large (but not nearly large enough to enfold the meat) bun. Also recommend the... More

Portions are enormous. For sure you can share 1 meal. I had the chicken and waffles which had 2 chicken breasts and 4 waffles. I thought it was delicious. Hubby has turkey broccoli scramble which he liked. I can see why this place was packed on a regular Monday. Definitely worth a visit.

This place gets packed fast ! its a small place. Wait time is usually 1 to 2 hours so get there early.. just be warned.. the food ia good and its a huge plate. The service is ok but i understand.. the stress.. running the tables.

Really great food and a fun atmosphere! We got there right at 8 on a Saturday and got 2 of the last seats at the bar. Get there early or prepare to wait!
