Every time I am in town (working vacations, 2 or 3 times a year), this Cajun Girl drops by for some back home cooking. Set away in cozy trees you can find true Louisiana cooking. The setting and atmosphere assist with the entire experience. Food:...More

I'm actually writing this review as I'm sitting in the beautiful San Diego weather, on the patio of New Orleans Creole Cafe! I've got a beautiful glass filled with their signature Sweet Tea and a recently emptied bowl that used to have some absolutely delicious...More

It was hard to find, hard to find the staff, and then we sat on a patio and I listened in on this Mexican family's fight in Spanish...hilarious. The gumbo was nice, came with hot bread.

It takes up two small buildings--one is the kitchen and one is the dining room. There is also a garden eating area. The night we went it was a bit chilly, so we ate indoors. We decided on the Jambalaya, which was very good. Service...More
