Great service fast and yummy sushi! Cozy atmosphere and gets busy because it's good and service is quick. Only problem is parking.

If I have something to say about this place, I believe service needs more polishing. Our waitress didn't listen to our order, she kept bringing us the wrong order. We ordered chicken, she gave us pork. I ordered no ice on my water and she brought me water with ice. Otherwise, food is ok. I just don't think I'll come... More

We wanted ramen for lunch so we went to Tajima. It is busy as usual so we waited about 10 minutes. We had the Tajima and the spicy seasame ramen. They were all very good. We like the wide noodles as it has more texture. We also had good takoyaki and gyoza. Service was fine and food was good. Definitely... More

We frequent this establishment for number of years. Food has always been great, service is average until today. The hostess looked like she got a corn up 'you know what '. Ramen restaurants are popping up all over SD now, perhaps time to go where else.

Great ramen and takoyaki. Kakuni is soo tender. Highly recommend, but come early. There's usually a wait and tight parking.

Main entrees, appetizers, and sushi are all good here. Portions are plentiful and prices are very reasonable. Servers are friendly and service is good. In a strip mall and usually a line getting seated.

Stopped here on way to visit my daughter. This place seems to cater to a younger crowd but server made this grandma feel welcome. The menu was extensive and they also had specials. The prices were reasonable and atmosphere was upbeat.

I definitely recommend going as early as you can. We've been in right after they open (so, before noon) both times, and have been seated right away. Those arriving after 12 often end up waiting for a table. They do get busy. It's because their food is pretty tasty. The waitresses are sweet and friendly, if sometimes stretched a bit... More

We decided to try this Tajima Restaurant as the one on Convoy has been our favorite ramen place; however, the parking there was atrocious. First of all, the ramen selection is not quite as extensive as the other Tajima. However, they appear to have more non-ramen dishes, including sushi dishes. All of us agreed that the ramen was better at... More

I gather that this is one of a trio of Japanese similarly named noodle houses in greater San Diego. They have a diverse menu from "great" bowls of ramen to izakaya-style small plates to sushi and sashimi all at competitive prices. Seven of us arrived around 9 PM on a Monday and had a short wait for a table. The... More
