Just got back from the restaurant and just had the best time and really super food! My husband had blackened swordfish and I had Maine lobster! I'm from Maine, so wasn't sure if it would be as good as Home!! Boy was I wrong! The best ever! It was a quiet snowy night and had Gary for our waiter! Just... More

Needed a convenient spot for lunch following my son's marriage at Boston City Hall. Had a wonderful meal with great, attentive, and very friendly service (Thanks Ilene!). Sea food we had was all wonderful including lobster bites, grilled and pan seared salmon, Cajun tuna, and more. Restaurant was nearly empty but we were given first-class treatment by everyone! Memorable meal.

This was our 2nd visit to this location, and based on our first visit, I was a bit hesitant to return. I wanted the visit to be good.. I really did. We enjoy the Happy Hour at M&S in Atlantic City, so I thought, maybe our last experience was a one off. Everyone is entitled to a bad day/night. Well-... More

We were looking for a good seafood place to eat for a romantic meal with my husband and we picked the right spot. Meal was fantastic as was the service. Our waiter suggested an appetizer and it was something we never had before but sure glad we ventured out as it was delicious!

Was almost the only restaurant open on the 25th also very busy due that there were not many options open on that day, recommended that you make a reservation. We order various starters as it was late night and weren’t very hungry, oysters delicious, lobster bites and calamari all were good, especially the oysters Good cocktails had a pear martini,... Anyone who's been to a McCormick & Schmick's knows... you're going to get good service and good food. But this was an emergency. We had just landed in Boston for the New Years (I grew up here) and needed some seafood. We rushed from the airport and straight to Faneuil Hall. I knew I could get the good stuff here.... More

My husband and I have always enjoyed McCormick & Schmick's so when we saw one in Faneuil Hall we decided to try it -twice. Our first experience was a packed lounge with only one waitress. We sat for 30 minutes before realizing that the one waitress was not coming to our table. Our second visit the lounge was chaos. Waitstaff... More

Called in for a drink and some bar food on a bitterly cold Boston day. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice drink and some nibbles and took in the holiday type atmosphere. Very enjoyable. Will go back some time and try the restaurant.

We walked by this restaurant during the daytime and it looked very inviting. We made reservations and were seated upon arrival in a private booth in the upstairs. It was comfortable for our party of four. our waiter provided excellent service. The presentation of the food was lovely and it was delicious. It allowed for a slow pace and wonderful... More

This restaurant has dependable service and excellent food. We stopped in for lunch during the busy concert season near the Markets. The lobster Cobb salad was beautifully presented and super delicious! The perfectly composed salad consisted of a layer of lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped eggs was topped with thick slices of avocado, chunks of tender, fresh lobster, and sprinkled with... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
