Closes early, busy during lunch, long lines do move fast, order a classic and you’ll be fine. We tried a few but the traditional pastrami was our fave

Sam LaGrassa’s is your quintessential Boston eatery. It’s classic, has lots of history, to the point, and consistent. I like to get the combo sandwich, which I’m so happy they offer because choosing between their Pastrami and Corned Beef sandwiches would be like picking which...More

Every time I am in Boston I can't wait for lunch time. They have the best corned beef, pastrami, and roast beef with horseradish sandwiches I have ever tasted. Their potato salad is one of the best, a little sweet, just the way I like...More

The sandwiches are terrific but if you aren’t a tourist take them to go. Very tough to get a table so if you don’t have the time to wait you can call in your order and pick it up to go which if very nice!

Pastrami, corned beef! Too bad they only have one location downtown. They are only open for lunch during weekdays. It is not convenient to go for lunch from Copley Square. Sometimes my office orders sandwiches from them for meetings. I look forward to those lunch...More

Wish they would be open on weekends. Or at least on Saturday. Pastrami Diablo is my all time favorite. Big enough to last me 2 meals. The mix of tender pastrami, cheese, dressing, sweet hot pickle makes me speechless.

Reliably good sandwiches - generous in size and portion. Haven’t had one that I didn’t like! We order from there for business meetings and they are always great. We also head there for our own lunch. Would definitely recommend!

I ate here yesterday for the first time, after hearing wonderful things about this restaurant. Well, it certainly lived up to the hype! The food and service was outstanding. I had the clam chowder, which was nice, creamy, and thick, with small chunks of clams,...More

An excellent rusty place to have a great sandwich in Boston downtown. You have several options of sandwiches and id made with fresh ingredients. Located in the heart of the financial services of Boston, it serves in a very cozy environment and the price is...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with

Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
