The aromas of the food were enticing and the flavor didn't disappoint. The portions were just right including the appetizer which was shared by all. We will visit again to enjoy dining with friends.

This is a MUST. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, this is the place. I have not had a bad dish here. My personal favs are the saag paneer, the dal, and the aloo Gobi. But every dish is phenomenal!

I've not been to an Indian restaurant with such an expansive menu featuring South India, special rice dishes representative of Mughal cuisine, and a variety of Himalayan and Nepali dishes - in additionn to the standard Curries and Tandooris. When you go,, be sure to get the Garlic Nan. Really good. There were 4 of us, and the menu offerings... More

I have eaten dinner at the Himalayan Bistro on several occasions and have never once been disappointed. Their tandoori chicken is out of this world! The thing I like best about this restaurant is that the chef truly understands the meaning of the word "Mild". Since I cannot tolerate spicy food, I always ask that my food be prepared without... They have a good variety of food, and everything I tried was great including: Mulligatawny Soup, Naan, Baigan Bharta, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Tandoori, Lamb Curry, Chicken Vindaloo and Vegetable Pakora. The chicken curry was a different flavor than I am accustomed to when tasting curry; it didn't have a strong curry flavor. We ordered take-out, so I... More

We got onto this Indian place with a Nepali twist several years ago from a friend who was a regular there. There are 2 Indian restaurants closer to where we live, but this place is worth the extra distance for more consistent fresh tasting food. The setting is plain and service basic but the food, especially the elaborate lunch buffet,... More

We typically do take out. The food is great and for those of us who enjoy spicy Indian food, they do make it spicy on request. The prices are reasonable and if you are a regular they email you coupons. Favorite dishes include shrimp korma, baigan bharta and onion naan.

I go a couple times a month and love the food, especially the lunch buffet although there's a lot on menu as well to choose from at dinner. I love the chicken momo with the pink sauce on the weekends, and the weekdays are great too. Plenty of both vegetable and meat selections, Indian and Nepalese, spicy and not-so-spicy. I... More

We eat-in or take-out at least once a month. It one of those places that whole family agrees on, even the vegan. The food is always plentiful and flavorful. We usually end up with leftovers for the next day's lunch. Family favorites are Saag paneer and Daal. Staff is always pleasant and courteous. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

I have been going there ever since I moved to Boston. Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan is their speciality. Their spice level is what reminds me of food back in India and that is one thing that makes me go there frequently. They also serve some good Indian beers. Overall the ambience is good and the background music is... More
