Get there early and don't look at the pricing. Everything here is a must try. We had a full selection of oysters and the warm (with butter) lobster rolls. I was also lucky to pickup one of the local ciders while I visited. Space is...More

Reason enough to come to Boston. I had the Maine lobster roll buttered with house Chardonnay it was wonderful. This meal was the best in my life delicious. Oysters were the freshest I've ever had. Vast variety.

We took lots of oyster in the town, and this one definitely is the best. Oyster list is amazing, price are reasonable. Always full of crowd. Go there before 12 to get you self a seat. And if you have only one shot for Oyster...More

My friend who lived in Boston, had recommended this place for their Lobster Roll. I'm so glad she did! There was a bit of a crowd and a long wait, but I was willing to try it, because of the recommendation. The Lobster Roll was...More

Neptune Oyster is by far one of my favorite places in the North End. The wait for lunch was about an hour but definitely worth it. We went on a Monday and got the Lobster Spaghetti special which was absolutely amazing. The service was great...More

I was afraid to even try to get in this place given the reported wait times. We arrived at 2 and were seated immediately on a Tuesday afternoon. The menu is limited (which is usually a good sign) and the food is good. The burger...More

Yep! It's worth waiting 30 min.... I had 5 different Oysters as a starter (small is so much more tasty) and a hot lobster roll with butter as a main. Super service and great wine reco. Expensive but worth every $.

My husband and I go here whenever we can...and yes, one time we did wait about an hour in a rainy drizzle to get a spot, but it was worth it. Collectively we've had the octopus, fried clam appetizers and the oyster burger...some fresh oysters,...More

I have to go to Boston often for medical reasons, so you'd think I would take advantage my frequent visits to explore new restaurants each time! NAH.... All I want to do when I drop my bags in the hotel is go back downstairs, get...More

Finally, made it into Neptune Oyster. Always wanted to try it based on all the good reviews I hear, but ultra small restaurants that are super popular and don't take reservations are not my thing. Especially places that will easily tell you the wait is...More

being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or

Sure, like I can really help. Did you order any Oysters, if yes what kind? Did you order a lobster roll, then with or without butter and hot or cold? Did your server have a tatoo, if yes was it fresh or an older one. Finally... More

Go early, like 4, to get on their list, then wander the North End which is fun and you will eventually be called and likely make dinner 'tween 5 - 6. It is worth the wait for sure.
