Hei La Moon is a stalwart dimsum place in the Boston area that has stood the test of time. It's one of the best dimsum places you'll find in the area!

Haven't been here in a few years. Decided to try something different. Place usually mobbed on the weekends. Usually food carts all over the place. Yes, we were there during mid-afternoon and no cart service however dim sum was ordered through a waiter and prepared...More

Dim sum at Hei La Moon was not bad at all. The selection was decent - they had all of basics like pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, spare ribs, bao, etc. They did have an unusual item: lobster dumplings which I didn't really like....More

This restaurant has a ballroom sized dining room which was packed on the Sunday when I visited for Dim Sum. The food on offer is variable in quality - some are really tasty such as the shrimp mixture on mushroom and the shrimp "crepes". The...More

This placed was packed during lunch on a monday. The BBQ pork buns - both the steamed ones and baked ones - were delicious. The shrimp and Chinese chive pot stickers were great. The sesame balls hit the spot. I we enjoyed this place very...More

This place is a little dumpy but don't worry when you get inside you will be well rewarded with some of the best Chinese food around and super reasonable. The Dim Sum is wonderful on the weekend. I usually buy extra and to take home...More

Beyond the Chinatown gate, a good place for non-Chinese because small and square tables plentiful; avoids sharing a 10 person round table. The dim sum dumplings are large and meaty, but not as aesthetic in shape or style as in more classical tea service.Early opening...More

My family loves Dim Sum and have had great dining experiences in SF, NYC, Hong Kong and other cities. We were excited to find this restaurant as it looked promising. Unfortunately, we discovered nothing positive. The food was barely edible and boring. The selection of...More

This is a dim sum "palace" like you remember. A large noisy banquet room filled with families picking the most delicious--and authentic--dim sum from a never ending series of carts. And a place where six people can eat until bursting and get change from $100....More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

No, they stop at 3pm too. Same as China Pearl. My advice would be to get there before 1pm for the best selections.

There is a garage in the same building , around the corner and up the ramp. It typically gets full on Sundays after 12pm but they do validate at the restaurant. I think it's around $6-7.
