Nice historical place. We were there on a Saturday evening so it was packed but staff was good and took care of us in an appropriate mount of time
We went for snack and drinks, and found a solid authentic tavern - oldest in Massachesetts, in restored building. Excellent service. We had good soup, nachos and beer. Highly recommend if you are looking for tavern meal and beverage.

We had a gathering with a large group of friends here and I was very impressed with both the food and the fast and friendly service we received. Nice atmosphere in a quaint Charlestown neighborhood is an added bonus.
