Went for dinner after a Bruins game. Pros: historic old building, good service Cons: food was ok at best and pricey for what we got. $100 for 3 people

If you have never been to the Warren Tavern, walk by, stick your head if you want, and then keep going. It is a very interesting place with a great history but the truth is the menu and chef should be history. The chowder was...More

Nice historical place. We were there on a Saturday evening so it was packed but staff was good and took care of us in an appropriate mount of time

We went for snack and drinks, and found a solid authentic tavern - oldest in Massachesetts, in restored building. Excellent service. We had good soup, nachos and beer. Highly recommend if you are looking for tavern meal and beverage.

It's just straight out of central casting when you think of a neighborhood place, maybe you do drinks, maybe dinner, but where you just feel at home. We stopped in for dinner while visiting Boston and they had a great beer selection and we opted...More

Towards the end of the Trail, near the Bunker Hill Monument. Warren Tavern has its own history of famous visitors but don't let that put you off - it's more than a tourist trap. Good beer and reasonably priced food. We had a burger and...More

We had a gathering with a large group of friends here and I was very impressed with both the food and the fast and friendly service we received. Nice atmosphere in a quaint Charlestown neighborhood is an added bonus.

We dined this evening and enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese, the lobster salad, and the soft pretzel appetizers. Service was great, food was tasty, and overall a good experience.

Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight
lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit.
Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge
from the North End or take the scenic water locks to
Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll
down cute Main street, wandering up the windy
residential streets to Monument Square, where you can
learn about the city’s history along with a great view

WARREN TAVERN is family-friendly and because Paul Revere used to frequent this tavern it is a good reason to tell the story of Paul Revere and his famous ride to tell the people of Boston that the British were coming. Then... More
