Can't go wrong with the clams casino, black pasta puttanesca, and lobster fra diavolo! Yum! Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff that enjoy sharing their favorites.

This place is a one-off. Tiny - bordering on miniscule. Always busy. Largely blackboard menu with loads of choice you'd be stuck to find elsewhere. Cooked (& served) in individual woks by two chef's who're inches from customer's tables. Huge portions of Glorious glorious fresh seafood. Amusingly dry, flat local humour from the owner who welcomed us by asking us... More

Halibut special $27 including choice of salad or pasta. The fish was excellent, the sides indifferent. 20 covers, tiny space. Dessert across the street.

I love the north end. This little find just reinforced its charm. Extremely fresh seafood does not begin to describe it. It is small, no reservations, cash only. It usually has a line out the door for what might have been 8 tables in an open kitchen. Calamari- just the right texture both in red sauce and as a traditional... More

We ordered the small fried calamari, the fish and chips and the linguini with white clam sauce. It was truly great. The hair On my arms is slightly singed from sitting so close to the chef, it's exciting and delicious.

I'm so happy to have been in the north end today! Catch normally has a line outside from opening time but today I was lucky and got a table right away... this was my first time here. The black ink pasta with ground squid was superb. I had the starter portion with the calamari.. I loved the look and smell... More

First visit, recommended by a friend. There are 20 seats in this tiny restaurant, and we just happened to show up when there wasn't a line out front. Very casual, not alot of room so if you need space, skip this place. Food was delish, prepared quickly right in front of you. Seafood is the main ingredient - so if... More

Great little spot. Very small and you may have to share a table with others, not a big deal trust me. Cash only! Food is incredible. From black pasta to seared tuna, scampi, calamari, linguine clams.. EVERYTHING!!! Exposed kitchen so you can see chef work. Neat. Highly recommend.

I visited The Daily Catch after visiting the USS Constitution Museum and eating at Salvatore's restaurant in the Theater district. Needless to say, I didn't need to eat, but after reading all the GREAT reviews about The Daily Catch, I WANTED to eat here. WOW , what a GREAT place to eat at!!! First, despite the fact the restaurant was... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
