Ok, so rating it the best without visiting any other Italian restaurants in the North side is a hard sell. But this place is amazing. The food was perfect, service even better, and ambiance was beautiful. It’s pricey but you pay for what you get....More

We had dinner here and based on its location near Paul Revere's house I was sure it would be a tourist trap. Get reservations! It was phenomenal. Has to wait to be seated for our reservation. But then! The service was good and the food...More

Delicious food, great ambiance and fantastic service. Its set in a historic 19th century house and has separate private dining rooms. Good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Try the Carpaccio (pasta with truffles). Heavenly!

I loved the food & service at this restaurant while in Boston's Little Italy. We arrived early for our reservation because we overestimated trip time, and we were told sorry no way to get in early by host. Surprisingly, we went back to Open Table...More

I have been to dozens of north end restaurants and the ambiance and higher-end caliber was welcomed. The homey house feeling is unique, the level of service is top notch especially compared to most north end spots. The food was impeccable. I’m a beef carpaccio...More

Great Old Boston Italian atmosphere, but unfortunately the food was not worth the price. The prosciutto appetizer was so thinly sliced that we could hardly taste it, and it was served with only 2 figs, halved. The rabbit pappardelle was in a red sauce that...More

Make no mistake, this is not one of your usual touristy, red sauce, establishments that pervade the north end. this is on the higher end of the spectrum, starting with the food , and continuing with the ambience, the service and the wine. We happened...More

Dinner for myself and hubby on our latest Boston trip. We wanted Italian but a bit special. A friend recommended Mamma Maria. The place is unassuming; dim lighting, comfortable furnishings and traditional art on the wall. The staff were welcoming and although busy, they all...More
