Went to the North End on a Friday night. Hostess (owner?) was incredibly rude and pretentious. Despite a reservation we had to stand outside for 30 min while she ignored our party. Once we sat down and ordered the food was slow to come out...More

If you want an excellent, affordable and relaxed place to eat in the North End, this is it for me. Definitely not a "slap some sauce on some noodles" type of place, you could tell that some thought and effort went into each dish that...More

If they had a taste of the North End like the South End does. Pretty much every restaurant would have a chicken parm or cannolis as the sampler. Pomodoro would be table with many dishes that all amazing. The restaurant has a cute decor. Pomodoro...More

As Chevon(sp?) greets you at the door and guides you to your table, the hot rolls and warm olives in oil magically arrive. The dinner portions are plentiful and all delicious. Sometimes generous surprises also appear on the table. We have never left disappointed. The...More

Rude, table not ready and 30mins wait with reservation, and no apology or explanation . The waitress/hostess yelled at us to move outside as there was no room inside. Very unprofessional.

We made a reservation and arrived early as the staff were setting up for the evening. The staff were wonderful. They seated us and brought us bread and olives while we waited. Everyone in the party loved their meal. We were all surprised when the...More

Very small Italian restaurant next door to a popular restaurant in the North End. The food was amazing! They brought us a delicious appetizer for the table and tiramisu to end the night. It’s cash only FYI!

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church
