Went there with friends. We tried 2 varieties of margarita, one of which was their "special". Both were probably the worst I have ever tasted. I ordered a puerco and though the sauce was very nice, my pork was extremely dry :(. It is really...More

We were told this was Boston's only Mexican Food Restaurant. It was within walking distance of our hotel in the Back Bay area. This seemed to be pretty authentic Mexican Food. Service was great. We are used to Tex Mex so we didn't think it...More

Went here on a recommendation of a friend. It's easy to miss, kind of on a little side alley street off Newbury/Boylston. Cool entrance, the inside was larger than I expected with an underground type feel similar to Lolita's. The atmosphere was great! Lots of...More

My friend and I had dinner here on a Thursday night. We arrived at 6pm and were seated right away. Margaritas were awesome and food amazing. I had enchiladas poblanos. Just terrific. Staff were friendly and professional. Can't wait to go back!

Nice to find an outdoor patio in downtown Boston...very good Mexican food...not texmex. Be sure to try the shrimp in tomato sauce and the vegetarian tamale.

This restaurant has a small back room which is good if you have a noisy group. Not a lot of group dining options in the back bay. Anyway, although the food is good, prices reasonable, in this visit, the service was downright awful. I think...More

You will find Casa Romero just off Gloucester Street in an alley between Commonwealth Ave. and Newbury St. in Boston's Back Bay area. There is a small sign and almost a hidden door. I discovered it not long after it opened in the mid-'70's. I...More
