Having moved to the west coast from the Boston suburbs, I haven't been to Casa Romero in at least 10yrs. But when a trip came up and I had a super early flight back home, I arranged to revisit Casa Romero (I had to check...More

I guess I was tired, but I was pulling on the side wall as it looked just like the front door. Both were tiled. Finally I saw the door HANDLE! Good thing, as I would not have wanted to miss this place. Love the decor...More

Hidden in an alley off Gloucester casa romero is truly a gem. Delicious, authentic unique mexican food. If you go; you will never really enjoy fast food mexican restaurants again. From the margaritas, to the salsa, to the dinners (particularly loved the chicken verde and...More

Excellent tamale's. The mole enchiladas are awesome. Tried various margaritas all great tasting and potent. The alleyway entrance was interesting. Wasn't sure it was door :) But once you walk in your in for an excellent meal and drinks!

Ok - I suppose that some people could possibly have had some rough experiences. However, even after reading about some of these experiences and being on the lookout for dispassionate waitstaff, crummy food, etc... I experienced NONE of those things. The atmosphere is charming. The...More

Unfortunately the food is not consistent and far from authentic in taste. Its still okay but there's nothing compelling a return - especially when a small glass of soda costs $4.95! C'mon Casa Romero this is just rediculous!

Some of the reviews I read...these people must be delusional. My wife and I went last night...not a very warm welcome really, the restaurant wasn't all that busy for a Saturday night which was a bit of a red flag. The server was pretty fed...More

We enjoyed a great dinner at Casa Romero. A very creative and delicious menu. We started with Agave spicy margaritas which were excellent and a terrific chorizo cheese dish. Our entrees were the light tasty fish tacos (talapia), a very good Mole enchilada and the...More
