We chose this place completely at random while walking along Hanover Street. We were seated promptly. All 5 of us selected a different entree and the food was fine. My calzone was huge! The service was friendly and reasonably paced.

The food was okay. The service was great as they were able to accommodate our large business group on a busy Thursday evening without a reservation. They are close to some yummy, very, well-known pastry shops.

We stopped in here to grab a drink and take a break from walking. The ambience was lovely and the local color was amusing. The drinks were very good — I had a delicious Riesling — and the bartender was very nice. We did not eat, but the food that some of the other patrons order looked and smelled delicious.... More

Always a great choice when in Boston. My wife and I have been going here for eight years . We have never been disappointed. It has the best staff and bartenders on Hanover street.

We ended up here when our first choice line was too long, and our second choice had a wedding party going on. It was OK nothing special.

Our dinner was great! We usually sit at the bar and both bartenders were very attentive. Our food came quick and drinks were great. Our dinner was fabulous!

This Italian restaurant apply in the Italian quarter of Boston was a great little spot to stop in for lunch and to warm up with the cold cold 40 degree air in Boston in November (I am a Floridian) The menu is very standard not huge and very traditional, it has all the standard Italian fair you'd desire. All of... More

Visiting Boston's North End with friends, we decided to splurge on a nice Italian dinner. Two of us had that evening's special: lobster with shrimp, scallops, and vegetables. The other had a pasta dish. We shared bruschetta, a caprese salad, and a bottle of wine. All delicious. Outstanding, attentive service. Even though we were there in November, it was a... More

Ended up eating here twice it was that good. It is on the Freedom Trail so just follow the red before or after Paul Revere's house. Great pasta and pizza not to mention wine and local beer. Good atmosphere and when the weathers nice the doors and windows open up to show good views. Recommend.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
