No complaints about the service and the food was good, but the place is not as atmospheric as other Hard Rock Cafes we've visited. We were pretty much the only customers there, too.

I have visited Hard Rock cafes all over the US and this was my first time being disappointed. They sat us at a dirty table. Asked the waiter to clean it and he did, but it was still dirty. The service was very slow, our waiter kept saying "sorry the kitchen is slammed tonight" and yet there were several empty tables... Across from our hotel The Bostonian. Waitress was great and very helpful and gave us AAA discount when she asked if member. Food came quickly and tasty.

The atmosphere is fun and interesting, the gift shop always has something good and the food has never disappointed but the service is SLOW. We went when it wasn’t even busy, maybe 4 other tables besides us and it took at least an hour and a half to get out of there including waiting for the check to come.

Like other Hard Rock Cafes I've visited Boston didn't disappoint. From starters to mains the food was savage. We started with a sharing platter which had plenty for the four of us. For our mains the lads shared a rack of ribs the wife had the chicken Caesar salad while I had the club sandwich. We were all happy with... More

Food and drink quality and price are what you expect for a Hard Rock...but being unable to buy alcohol without showing a passport or US-issued photo ID is bizarre. Certainly did not make my group of foreign visitors feel welcome.

Nice restaurant with a big bar and lots of tables near Quincy Market. Typical pub type menu with delicious burgers. The service was good, place was bright and clean and the food delish.

First time at Hard Rock Boston. Funny and friendly staff. Store is small and stock (for what we were looking for) was limited. Had an appetizer and cocktail at the bar and, again, funny and friendly staff. Food was good; drinks were excellent!

We are Hard Rock Cafe groupies. We've been to about 30 different locations in country and out. What makes a visit for me is a nice conversation with someone working there who is passionate about their job, rock, people and or their company. Chris took the time to talk to us as we came into the rock shop and we... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
