As my wife lives in the neighborhood and this restaurant is a three-minute walk from the Liberty Hotel (where visiting friends sometimes choose to stay, and the reader of this review may be staying), I've been to this restaurant often, in snowstorms and in summer...More

Went here for dinner. t's a nice restaurant but dark. Most tables used phone flashlights to see the menu. The food and service get five stars.
We had Peter as our waiter and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, yet not overbearing. He was most...More

I don't usually visit any restaurant twice during a holiday as I like to explore different options. However the service, food and beer was so good the first time when my wife and I both had Sicilian pizza that we had to go back and...More

Good food, friendly welcome, great location. Handy if you have been wandering around in the park as well. You can also walk to the theatre district (where we had trouble booking dinner) in about 10-15minutes. Go early and it will be markedly less busy (no...More

Our server was very attentive and friendly. Host was a bit surly. Good wine list. Pizza was not memorable - salty crust and average toppings.

This tiny Italian restaurant was great! I visited with my 17 year old daughter, who was touring colleges. She is a vegetarian and had no trouble finding great options. The food and service were wonderful, better than in the North End.

One of the best spots in the city. Stopped by for lunch with my wife and still great. Hadn't been in a while. My Caesar Salad and an order of Gnocchi was perfect. A couple of glasses of vino rounded out an very enjoyable meal....More

Nestled in off of the cobblestones we found Toscano. We had heard of it over the years but we didn't set out for it so we were happy to stumble upon it. After a long day, we just wanted to relax, enjoy a nice glass...More

Trendy, terrific, top-of-the-line! Everything was excellent: wait-staff, atmosphere, service, food. This was our first visit to Toscano's in Beacon Hill, and it was just as wonderful, in every way, as Toscano's in Cambridge. I had the caesar salad and then spaghetti with pomodoro sauce. I...More

We will be arriving in Boston in early evening on Friday, May 1st, and wonder if we will be able to get a reservation for around 7 or 7:30 p.m?

It's too bad they are not a part of Open Table reservations. Call when you get into town. The North end is a close 15 minute walk from that area for more choices of Italian foods.
