Our waitress was lovely and the coffee good. The food was overpriced and mediocre. There are much better places to eat nearby.

Here for lunch as part of a conference group so more limited choices. I did have the escargot and thought they were just great. Service and atmosphere were good. I would go again.
Staff is awesome especially guys in the bar were fab. Don't know my specific waiters name but he's south American - if you get him your golden! Been there for years. They gave great recommendations - love the soup and drinks. Classy joint.
Escargot is a must! The crispy Pork shank was equally delicious. Very ample wine list and extremely knowledgeable staff.

Good French restaurant with wonderful appetizers. Escargot was delightful. The bar is quite lively too. We had a late dinner and we're pleased the restaurant was able to serve us so late. Great service too. We shall return!
For premium prices, much of the food was not very tasty and times between courses interminably long. Notably poor choices were coq au vin, cod cheeks, and bread pudding. The burgers were good, as were the escargots and romaine salad. I will not recommend the...More
Brasserie Jo has long been my favorite in the Back Bay. It is relatively quiet, has seating with table separation. You can actually talk with friends at your table instead of shouting over your neighbors. And it's great for those who love traditional French fare,...More
